Sarah Rak, LMT
Sarah started her post-high school education in Athletic Training and then shifted fields to get her license in massage therapy from North Eastern Institute of Whole Health in Manchester. She immediately got involved with the VA Community Care program and has been working almost exclusively with veterans since July of 2019. She describes her work as "very rewarding to give back to those who gave so much more."
Sarah works collaboratively with patients with chronic pain to alleviate discomfort and encourages them to continue to engage in activities and hobbies they enjoy even while dealing with chronic pain. Sarah's style is a mix of deep tissue and Swedish with a goal of each session to help patients with tired, stiff, or achy muscles to relax and experience relief of symptoms.
Outside of her clinical work, you'll probably find her at a local high school field refereeing women's lacrosse and field hockey throughout NH. She's been an official since 2011 and loves being able to stay engaged with the sports she grew up playing. She also enjoys riding mixed-surface gravel, trail running, and weightlifting. She resides in Concord with her husband Spencer, a NHANG veteran, and their two cats
